Project health and workspace insights you can trace back to the work

See what is late, blocked or coming up in a project, with every number linked to its issues. Workspace admins get one place for throughput, team, project, helpdesk and usage numbers. And the action items in your meeting notes become issues after you review them.

Project health

Project health shows a project's overdue, due soon, blocked and unassigned work at a glance, and every number opens the issues behind it. Editors write dated status updates on top of it, with a status they choose themselves.

  • Counts open issues that are overdue, due in the next 7 days, without a due date, unassigned or blocked by another open issue, plus work completed in a period.
  • Shows plan milestones coming up in the next 30 days and milestones that were missed.
  • There is no computed score: a person picks On track, At risk or Off track when saving a status update.
  • Optionally let your workspace's AI draft the update. Each statement links to the issues, plans or metrics it is based on.
  • Everyone with access to the project can read health and saved updates; project editors and admins write them.

Admin insights

Admin insights give workspace admins the numbers of the whole workspace in one place: throughput, cycle time, team activity, project health, helpdesk, leads and usage. You choose a period and, if you like, a single project.

  • Overview: issues created and completed, completion rate, median cycle time, overdue issues and hours logged.
  • Team: per member, issues completed, open and overdue, hours, comments and last activity. Projects: each project's latest health status, open, overdue and done issues, hours and last activity.
  • Helpdesk and leads: tickets created and resolved, median resolution time, SLA breaches and share met, leads and the form funnel.
  • Usage: members by role, pending invitations, storage by project and webhooks.
  • Pick this month, last month, the last 30 or 90 days or a custom range, and export every tab as CSV. Only workspace admins can open Insights.

Meeting notes → issues

Meeting notes to issues uses your workspace's AI to find the action items in your notes and suggests each one as an issue, with the sentence it came from. You review, edit and pick the ones you want before anything is created.

  • Start from a doc with Extract action items, or paste notes into Meeting notes to issues on the project page.
  • Each suggestion comes with an owner (only project members) and a due date only when the notes are clear about it.
  • Possible duplicates of open issues are marked before you create anything.
  • Clicking Create twice never creates issues twice.
  • Meetings scheduled from an issue or doc can get a linked notes doc in one click, ready for extraction.

Frequently asked questions

How does Brainitive measure project health?

Project health counts open issues that are overdue, due in the next 7 days, unassigned or blocked, plus missed and upcoming plan milestones. Every number links to the issues behind it. Brainitive does not compute a health score; the status (On track, At risk or Off track) is chosen by the person who writes the update.

Who can see workspace insights?

Only workspace admins. They see every project in the workspace and can narrow Insights to one project and a period. Members don't see the Insights page. Every tab can be exported as a CSV file.

Which AI turns meeting notes into issues?

Brainitive uses the AI provider your workspace sets up itself: any OpenAI-compatible API with your own key. Until a workspace admin adds one, the AI buttons don't appear. Nothing is created until you review the suggestions and click Create.

Can I plan my team's workload and capacity?

Yes. Each project has a Workload view where you set a weekly capacity per person, mark weeks with less time such as leave, and plan issues into weeks. Cells show when someone is over capacity. Project admins and workspace admins plan; everyone in the project can look.

Are health and insights included in the free plan?

Yes. Every feature is in every Brainitive Cloud plan, including Free, which allows up to 3 members and 5 projects. Brainitive is also open source, so you can self-host it with every feature and no limits.
